You approach the old barn house as the sun begins to . The small windmill beside it creeks as you approach. You slowly open the door, the scent of fills the air and brings back childhood memories. You step inside, the floorboards creaking with every step.
A small dog approaches you and gives your hand a little sniff. The dog then wanders over to an old wooden rocking chair. A book sits on the table beside it.
You sit down and pick up the book, which turns out to be a novel.
As you settle down to read, the dog jumps up into your lap and settles down to sleep. As you relax, reading and listening to the small dog's breathing, you begin to drift off to sleep. Your eyes suddenly snap open as you hear a voice outside.
The voice cries,
